The Collings 1 series of ukuleles have a satin finish and an unbound body and neck, an austere look, to be sure, but boy, do they sound great. Officially, Collings is not making ukuleles but they just built a tiny handful and we're very pleased to have snagged this one. This UT1 is made of solid Honduran with a rosewood bridge and fingerboard. This is a fine sounding instrument with a clear balanced tone. If you have ever wanted a new Collings uke, don’t wait. We don’t know when we’ll ever see another one.
