Yes, the neck is smaller than a standard Waterloo, but it's still 1 3/4" wide at the nut and the difference isn't so much the size of the neck as the shape. This Waterloo's neck doesn't have the typical "vintage V" shape, and instead has a very contemporary C shape that any player will easily adapt to. Even if you've been playing Taylors you'll find that this neck feels familiar. The sound and overall vibe is pure Waterloo, we're glad Collings decided to give us the option of offering these best-selling models with a more modern neck shape.
