The Vintage Southerner (VS) is inspired by the round-shouldered dreadnought that Gibson was making in the 1930s and 1940s, but the tone, feel and general vibe is all SCGC. This particular guitar has an Adirondack spruce top and a mahogany back and sides, a combination that produces a clear, crisp tone. It features a shorter, 24-3/4 inch scale length. The lighter string tension puts the top under a bit less stress which sweetens the overall tone and makes the guitar a bit easier to play. Includes a hardshell case.
