This Custom Shop Martin isn't exactly an Authentic or some kind of historic reissue, but it's a model based on the Martin 000-18s from a brief period back in 1934. Martin ceased calling the 14-fret 000s Orchestra Models (OM) in 1934, but continued using the long, 25.4" scale on them until fall of that year, when all 14-fret 000 models were given the shorter 24.9" string scale they've had ever since.
There are even more important changes to this 000-18 when compared to the stock model. Matt opted for a premium grade Adirondack top, given Martin's torrified top treatment (VTS) and braced with scalloped Adirondack spruce braces as well. The result is a lot more headroom compared to the standard 000-18, and a comfy smallish guitar that has plenty of power in the bottom end even when in dropped D or another open tuning that results in lower string tension.
