Of course Martin can't say this model is based on the body shape and materials found on Gibson's iconic L-00 models of the 1930s, but we don't have to hide the CEO-7s inspiration. Thanks to the Adirondack spruce top and light, scalloped top bracing, this is a very lively 00-size guitar and delivers a bigger sound than its size would suggest. Playability is enhanced by the shorter 24.9" scale and modified V neck (which is rounded enough that most players don't notice the V). Especially for those who love small mahogany Martins but who also like the look of a vintage Gibson, the CEO-7 is a logical choice.
