Lake Placid blue is one of the more favored (and less common) colors for the late 1950s Stratocasters of which this lightly aged guitar is meant to resemble. The single ply pickguard and maple fingerboard look very appropriate and the lollar pickups sound great. Purists will note that the original Strats of this era came with a three-way pickup selector but this one has been modified to a more modern (and useful) five-way setting with positions 2 and 4 reverse pole and reverse wound for hum canceling operation. It comes with a custom hardshell case.
