The Veillette Aero Electric is one of the most playable 12-string guitars out there. This is because it has a short 24-⅛-inch scale length, which puts the strings at a lower tension making them easier to fret. This doesn’t mean the Aero Electric has sacrificed tone for playability. Depending on the pickup setting, the semi-hollow Aero Electric can have a remarkably acoustic guitar sound when plugged in or a more jangly electric guitar tone, if that is what you’re after. The body on this guitar is solid, chambered poplar and the top is solid spruce. The neck is mahogany and the fretboard is ebony. The pickups are Seymour Duncan Vintage Rails, which are Strat-size with a hum-canceling split blade design. This is a wonderful sounding, easy playing 12-string. Includes a hardshell case.
