This National Reso-Phonic Raw Series guitar has a minimal wax body finish with a smooth feel that will develop a nice, aged patina over time. It’s handcrafted in National’s workshop in San Luis Obispo, California with a brass body, a hardrock maple neck and an ebony fretboard. This version features a 14-fret neck with a solid headstock, a 9 ½-inch single cone with a biscuit bridge, and a chicken-foot resonator coverplate, a classic set up inspired by the Style 0 that National made in the late 1930s. This guitar has a plain look, but it has all the punch, power and panache of its nickel-plated siblings at a more attractive price. Includes a hardshell case.
