National Reso Phonic is best known for their amazing metal-bodied guitars but their wooden instruments are well worth checking out, as well. This M-1 Tricone is made of layered mahogany and has the triple cone resonators that National used on their first guitars back in the late 1920s. This combination produces a sweet, singing tone that has a warmer timbre than its metal siblings. This M-1 sounds great for blues, but it also works very well for jazz or any other style where you might want to temper the punch and power of a resonator guitar with a bit of mellowness.
