This is a nice little soprano uke from Favilla, a New York company that made excellent fretted instruments for much of the 20th century. The finish has a quite lovely pattern of fine crazing, giving it a nice patina, and it sounds every bit as good as most Martin Style 0 ukes from the same period that sell for much more. We're dating this primarily by the tuners, which are identical to the ones Martin used around 1950. Include a recent vintage gig bag.
