Parts guitars exist in the vein of Leo Fender's original vision; that should the player wish to have a different neck, body, or hardware choice, it would be easy to make the change. As time has gone on, parts guitars have expanded to include a rather wide range of possibilities. This example has an after market, hand made, two piece alder body (in the Charvel style) with a custom finish in nitrocellulose lacquer and a stock Jackson/Charvel maple neck. It sports two Seymour Duncan humbuckers, a JB in the bridge and a '59 in the neck, with push/pull switch on the volume pot to split the coils on the JB. At one point, the bridge was a Kahler tremelo but it has since been changed out or a Stetsbar which functions excellently. It plays excellently and it a great all around rock guitar without being too "shreddy".
