This Yamaha FG-300 was made around 1970 (Yamaha didn’t keep track of serial numbers so dating is imprecise) and it has the red “Nippon Gakki” label, indicating that it was made in Japan and not Taiwan. It’s styling was inspired by the Gibson Hummingbird, but it has its own unique touches like the fancy jacaranda back and sides and the distinctive Yamaha headstock shape. This particular guitar is in excellent structural condition and very good cosmetic condition with few minor scuffs and scratches here and there. The frets are in good shape with lots of life left in them and the neck angle is good. Includes the original Yamaka case.
