Lyle instruments were imported from Japan by L.D. Heater, a music distributor that was based in Beaverton, Oregon. Lyle guitars were generally made by Matsumoko, a well-regarded Japanese firm that made instruments to order for other companies, much like Harmony or Regal used to do in the US. This particular bass has a simi-hollow body with a headstock that look a bit like the one used by Gibson on the Trini Lopez model. This bass is in good structural and cosmetic condition, with a few moderate signs of play wear. Includes a chipboard case.
