Contessa was the trade name Hohner used for its guitar in the 1960s and 1970s. Most Contessas, like this one, were made in Italy by Zerosette, a firm that also made electric guitars for Goya, Rayhorn and Sano, most of which were distributed in Europe. This HG-11 is a nice little archtop with one single coil pickup. It’s in good structural and cosmetic condition although are a couple of finish checks in the sides. The forest are in good shape and have lots of life left in them. Comes in a chipboard case.
