This Harmony soprano ukulele was made in the mid-1950s, right at the peak of the diminutive instrument's second brush with mass popularity. (The first was during the 1920s.) This ukulele was made in Chicago and the top, back and sides of birch which has been finished to look like figured maple. As with many modestly priced instruments from this period, the binding is painted on. This ukulele is in great shape, with no cracks or significant finish wear. This ukulele has a bright, clear tone and plays well. Includes a new gig bag.
