Nice Style 1 uke for about what you'd pay for a Style 0, and that's only because of the repaired back cracks (see photo 5 and 6). Original throughout. Note the fine pattern of crazing to the face and the small areas of flakey finish on the headstock. This has a bright and loud tone, neck is straight and neck angle excellent. Martin only used these tuners on Style 1 and Style 2 ukes for a few years (1946-1948) so the date of 1947 is a solid guesstimate. The original case included is chipboard but it's stronger stuff that recent chipboard cases and in this small size it's a sturdy package.
