Windsor was England's largest banjo manufacturer until 1940, when their Birmingham factory was bombed by the Nazis. This particular mandolin banjo was made around 1930 and it's a fine example of their craftsmanship. This mandolin banjo is in excellent condition with a straight neck. There are no major nicks, dings or scratches, although the finish on the neck has been removed at one point. This frets are slightly worn but they do have lots of life left in them. This mandolin banjo has a clear, bright tone with plenty of volume.
