This Supertone ukulele was made for Sears sometime around 1925, at the height of the 1920s ukulele craze. It was most likely made by Harmony in a period when they were making ukes that had the same exaggerated hourglass shape of the instruments made in Hawaii. The top, back and sides are made of koa and they are free of cracks or any major blemishes. This uke has been fitted with a modern set of Grover Champion pegs, which replaced the original wooden friction pegs. We don't often see ukes in this price in such good condition. Includes a new gig bag.
