The Rickard Little Wonder features a 3-ply cherry neck and 2-ply steamed and rolled cherry rim with ebony rim cap and decorative purfling band. In layman’s terms, that means this banjo has a simple, lightweight shell that produces a clear, bell-like tone. The headstock boasts a lovely marquetry floral inlay and the heel has an elegant boat shape. The necks has a frailing scoop at the end of the fretboard and a 25.5-inch fret scale length. All the nickel plated hardware, including Little Wonder style tone ring, is manufactured in Rickard’s shop.
