The most accurate reissue of a late-'50s Les Paul we've offered. You can always count on Tom Murphy to get it right, and this '58 with light "Tom's tea" faded sunburst is one of our favorites of the wide-ranging Les Paul Standard's typical colors. Not only does this Les Paul feature the historically accurate metal and plastic parts, the construction techniques are accurate as well, such as the use of hide glue for gluing the top to the mahogany body, and gluing the rosewood fingerboard to the mahogany neck. In every way this LP reissue looks, feels, and sounds right (it has the very lightest of subtle "aging" to the pickguard, pickup covers, and bridge). Serial number 80185, essentially unplayed, the COA and all the original paperwork and case candy is in the case pocket.
