As the McAlister website suggests, Roy's Pretender model is for those who love the sound of a mahogany slope-shoulder Dreadnought in the Gibson style, but who find that body shape a bit too big for comfort. By making the body sorta halfway between 00 and OM width (14 3/4 inches wide at lower bout) , and using a 13 frets clear neck, this hybrid design delivers the tone and volume in a more comfy size. The 13 fret neck is a big part of this winning formula, as it puts the bridge closer to the center of the soundboard. Comes with its original Ameritage case. Both guitar and case are near-perfect condition.
