Another variant in Collings' expanding line of Waterloo models, this more deluxe version is based on a 1930-1932 Kel Kroydon KK-1. These 12-fret models have a more open, resonant sound (since the bridge is closer to the functional center of the soundboard) so unless you really need those upper frets you should give one of these a try. The square headstock with vertical orange logo and the subtle shading on the soundboard give this Waterloo "Kel" a classy vibe, and the 12-fret neck puts the bridge right where you want it for maximum volume and warm bass from a relatively small guitar.
