It's a D-28 Authentic, based on 1937 specs, with thin lacquer finish, hide glue construction, and all the other turn-back-the-clock-80-years details. The "aged" part of the model code means the finish is artfully distressed a bit so the guitar doesn't look like a D-28 that was hidden under the bed and never touched. Instead it looks like an old Martin that saw real playing time back in the day. It certainly has the legendary old D-28 tone, plus the volume to deliver it. Judging from the almost total lack of wear on the frets, this particular example has been lightly played. Includes the original Geib-style hardshell case.
