We are always happy to get an instrument for Peter Hurney, who builds fine ukuleles under the Pohaku name. This beautiful soprano is made from Hawaiian Koa from Hawaii's Big Island. This is a lovely sounding ukulele with a clear, ringing tone. It's in excellent structural and cosmetic condition and shows just a few very signs of having been played. Includes a hardshell case.

About Peter Hurney:

Hurney's first Pohaku Ukuleles were made in Kailua, Hawaii, in the early 1990's. Now in Berkeley, California, Peter creates 20-30 custom instruments a year from Pohaku’s climate controlled wood-shop and studio, creating dynamic ukuleles ranging in style, from vintage and classical to art deco, art nouveau and even modern steampunk.
