We have been following Scott Walker’s career since his days at the Santa Cruz Guitar Company and have been impressed with his amazing electrics since he went out on his own. This 2017 Chimera is Scott’s semi-hollow model and it features a chambered mahogany body with an Engelmann spruce top, a one-piece mahogany neck and a Brazilian rosewood fretboard. It’s fitted with two Jim Wagoner WCR Crossroad humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions and a Lindy Fralin Split Blade single coil in the middle position. It has an on-board effects loop (OBEL) and an op-amp unity gain buffer. This Chimera is in excellent structural condition and very good cosmetic condition. There is one ding in the top between the bass soundhole and the waist and a “worm tracks” on the back that were caused by a belt buckle. This is an amazingly versatile guitar that is beautifully crafted by one of California's most innovative luthiers. Includes a Calton case, Godfrey Daniels “Hubbub Stage Pro” and a dual OBEL cable.
