The LS-17 measures 17 inches across the lower bout, making it the largest guitar in the Sadowsky line. This guitar was inspired by the classic archtops built by Gibson and Epiphone, but it’s not a slavish copy. For one thing, it has a slightly thinner body, making it easier to hold, particularly when you’re sitting down. It has a 5-ply laminate construction to help control feedback. The custom pickup is wound to vintage PAF standards, which produces a warm yet articulate tone. This LS-17 is in excellent structural and cosmetic condition. There are few very minor signs of having been played, but nothing large enough to show up in our photos. The frets are in great shape and have lots of life left in them. Includes the original hardshell case.
