If you're looking for a pearly vintage-style Martin that you can also plug in, check this one out. There's no holes-in-the-side, will-be-out-of-date-next-Tuesday electronics, instead the previous owner opted to have a Trance Amulet system installed, which not only delivers about the most realistic amplified sound from an acoustic guitar but also offers a discreet fingertip volume wheel just beneath the edge of the soundhole. In other words, you get high-tech amplified sound with no permanent intrusion on the guitar's originality.(Given the way acoustic guitar pickups have evolved in the last couple of decades, you might be very grateful for this in the future).
Enough of that, you say, what about the actual guitar? Fair enough, it's a super clean OM-42 with beautiful spruce and rosewood, with Martin's timeless pearl-bordered top and soundhole, plus Style 45 snowflakes on the fretboard. It's a classy OM in Martin's vintage style. If you look really carefully you might be able to find some signs that proclaim this to be a used guitar. Better bring a good pair of glasses as finding even the slightest scuffs and light finger marks won't be easy.
