This 2015 Stringphonic Lang-C Limited is a 16-inch archtop that is crafted in Japan. Despite its name, which suggests this is based on Eddie Lang’s 1920 L-5, it is inspired by a unique guitar that John D’Angelico built for Selmer in 1934. Like the original archtop, the Lang-C has a 16-inch body, a 1 ¾-inch nut and a cutaway. The scale length on this guitar is 24 ¾-inches long and the guitar is fitted with a recent vintage DeArmond 1100 Rhythm Chief floating pickup. The top is carved solid spruce and the back and sides are figured maple. This guitar is in excellent cosmetic and structural condition. The frets only show a slight amount of wear. Comes with a 1960 Lifton case, which is in equally clean condition.
