This Asian-made D’Angelico EXL-1 has all of the visual elegance of the guitars John D’Angelico crafted in the 1940s and 1950s. The EXL-1is made with a laminated spruce top and laminated flamed maple back and sides, so it doesn’t have the same tone as those classic hand-built guitars from the past, but it does sound very good. It’s fitted with a floating humbucker and has a sweet rounded tone when plugged in. It’s in excellent structural and cosmetic condition. It has contemporary neck shape with excellent frets and low string action makes this highly playable. Includes a nice hardshell case.
