A great example of Steve Huber's ability to wring every last bit of bluegrass tone out of carefully crafted reissues of the vintage Gibson Mastertone models that essentially defined the style. Except for a little finger wear to the coating on the head, this one is in almost unused condition, and of course it's a "Vintage" model anyway and so has satin-finished nickel plating. There is light crazing to the lacquer on the neck. Note that unlike the original Mastertones, this Huber was ordered with the optional slightly wider neck with a lightly radiused fingerboard. This isn't a radical change but you feel it and your left hand will appreciate the difference.
