We've always been fond of the sound of Huss & Dalton's mahogany dreadnoughts, and when you add a torrefied Adirondack spruce top to the mix they get even better (H & D calls torrefied "thermo-cured" but it's the same process as what Martin calls VTS and Collings calls "baked" and the top bracing was done with hide glue, as well). This has been played, there's a little fret wear and there are trails of very light scratches to the lacquer from shirt buttons and such on the sides and back (these aren't deep indentations, btw). A bonus is the curly figure to the mahogany on the sides, but the dark stain makes that hard to pick up in these photos. If crisp, clear mahogany D tone is what you like this one will make you smile, and you don't have to pick hard to get it. Clean original case.
