Jean-Baptiste Castelluccia is a third generation luthier who has been building since 1998. He inherited his workshop in Paris, France from his father, who in turn inherited it from his father. These days he crafts Selmer-style Gypsy jazz guitars as well as fine classical guitars, much like his father and grandfather did. This particular Sweet Chorus guitar has laminated rosewood back and sides just like the classic Selmer guitars that inspired it. The top is solid spruce and the neck is walnut.. This guitar is in excellent cosmetic and structural condition and shows only a few minor signs of having been played. This Sweet Chorus mode has a rich mid-range and a focused treble range. It’s a very responsive guitar that is capable of producing loads of volume with little effort, but it also responds well to a light touch for more intimate playing. Includes a carbon fiber hardshell case.
