One of the most impressive sounding small Gibsons we've had from the modern era, and this L-2 has the bass response you often wish you could get from much larger guitars. Part of that tone can probably be attributed to the Adirondack top, aided by hot hide glue assembly of the top and its bracing. It's in nearly perfect condition with nice low string action and almost no fret wear. The headstock inlay is the design used on the headstock of the earliest 1929 L-2 models and it's supposed to represent a flame, but among vintage Gibson die-hards it has long been referred to as a jester's cap. Comes with the original hardshell case and the complete packet of goodies Gibson packed in the accessory pocket when the guitar was new, including the owner's manual, a set of Gibson strings, and even a Gibson key ring and Gibson flat pick. If the key ring and flat pick don't inspire you to hit the "buy" button we give up.
