We loved these Breedlove mandolins, and sold lots of them back when Breedlove made all their mandolins in Bend, Oregon. Evidently the current owner of Breedlove stopped US production in 2015-'16 and they are now made overseas. This example is in near-mint condition, and although it's a basic model the sunburst highlights the figured maple and gives it a nice vintage vibe. Kim Breedlove was ahead of the curve and used X-bracing under the carved spruce top. It has a nice full tone with plenty of bass. Quite a bargain for under $1000.
