One of the highest stock models in the Taylor catalog in 2011, this 914ce is beautifully inlaid and appointed while beneath the decoration are the highest grades of spruce and rosewood (when you realize how many guitars Taylor builds per year using spruce and rosewood, the fact these 900 Series models get the best is even more significant). The hummingbird-theme fingerboard inlay, btw, is called the "Cindy" design because Bob Taylor first designed it many years ago for a guitar he gave his wife Cindy. This example has but one small ding on the top, and a larger scrunch to the surface of the finish on the back (probably from a belt buckle or jean rivets).
