Gibson’s Johnny A. Signature Model features an intriguing blend of features. It has a small hollow body with a carved maple top and a carved, one-piece mahogany back, combination produces a sweet, singing tone that isn’t prone to feedback at louder volumes. The scale length is 25.5 inches, which is unusual on a Gibson electric. The higher string tension adds a bit of sparkle to the tone, particularly in the low end. The gold hardware and pearl inlays give the guitar a subtly elegant look. This particular example was made in 2005 and it shows some subtle signs of play wear but nothing that really shows up in teh photos. The frets are in great shape and have lots of life left in them. Includes the original hardshell case.
