This Santa Cruz Guitar Co. 1929 0 is in excellent cosmetic and structural condition. The frets do show a little wear but they have lots of life left in them. We'd put this little all-mahogany 0 model up against any other all-mahogany guitar of its size, and even most that are 00 size or larger. Part of the charm of these models is the subtle way Santa Cruz breaks the rules. Since the late '20s Martin's all-mahogany models have had no binding, to keep the building time down allowing for a lower retail price. Santa Cruz binds their 1929 models like this one, but uses mahogany binding. This does make them more expensive, but it seals the end grain and lends a subtle fully-finished look and feel. Include the original hardshell case.
