This lovely soprano ukulele was made by David Talsma, a luthier based in Swartz Creek, Michigan. The top, back and sides are made from highly figured koa and the shape is the classic pineapple design. The painting of the surfer on the top and the tiki on the headstock was done by our pal Rober Armstrong. This ukulele not only looks good, it sounds great. To our ears, the pineapple shape has a rounder, mellower tone than the traditional hourglass silhouette, particularly in the soprano size. This ukulele is in excellent structural and cosmetic conditions. There are a few very minor signs of having been played here and there, but they are so slight they don’t show up in our photos. Includes a custom Cedar Creek case.
