No, it's not a D-21 "Special" just because it's factory left-handed, this pyramid-bridge Dreadnought was an actual model Martin offered briefly around the time they were having success with the similarly appointed Ditson 12-fret models. As a result, and the fact it's used, you get a lot of expensive Custom Shop options at a bargain price, such as wood binding and the pyramid bridge. This one has been played a bit, there are some finger and/or pick scuffs to the pickguard and just below it. The rest of the guitar's lacquer finish shows very little wear of any kind. Everything's clean and original, with the proud "175th Anniversary" stamp on the inside back strip. Original case, very clean.
