We have this 000-1 displayed with our new Collings flattop models, nobody will guess it's used unless they read the tag, or notice the price! There are a few faint finger scuffs, but if you think you might add to them the original Collings pickguard is in the case. And there is one small dent in the finish on the back if you really look for it. One advantage to the 000-1 being finished over a dozen years ago is that the lacquer has settled a bit into the pores and grain of the wood, giving it a nice patina and a warmer I'm-not-brand-new look. These Collings 12-fret models deliver a bigger sound than their size would suggest, thanks to the bridge being closer to the center of the soundboard, and the slightly wider neck gives fingers on the player's left hand a bit more room. Original case is equally clean.
