When it comes to tasteful appointments and the careful pairing or tonewoods the R Taylor crew really had it dialed in. In this case the Adirondack top and cocobolo back and sides are accented with bloodwood binding and the whole guitar just gleams, but in a subtle way. The sound is equally refined with excellent balance between bass and treble. Not many signs of wear, but there's a little wear to the lower frets so this guitar did get played. For the player with large hands, or anyone who appreciates more room on the fretboard, note that this Style 1's neck is 1 13/16" wide at the nut. Nice original Ameritage case included.
