This 2006 Eastman ER4 was mostly used for living room jam sessions. It’s in fine structural and cosmetic condition. The frets show a little bit of wear but they have lots of like left in them. Eastman’s El Rey Series of guitars are designed for Eastman by master luthier Otto D´Ambrosio. He uses the building and carving techniques of the past to craft contemporary designs that are sonically versatile and strikingly beautiful. This ER4 is an excellent example of D'Ambrosio's aesthetic. The top is carved solid spruce and the back and sides are solid mahogany. The neck has 16 frets clear of the body, allowing for easy access to the higher regions of the fretboard. The single Kent Armstrong pickup provides a warm, mellow tone that works well for jazz but you can dial in a brighter tone sounds good for blues, country or rock, as well. Includes the original hardshell case.
