Ome called these models "tenor/plectrum" because while the string scale is the 23 1/2" standard for a tenor, the neck has 22 frets like a plectrum instead of 19 or 20 frets as normally found on tenor banjos. If you ordered a new version of this banjo from Ome today the list price would be over $5000! The original owner was a serious banjo collector but also an active player, this Ome saw little use simply because he had so many other banjos to choose from.
