Gibson built this Luthier’s Choice Advanced Jumbo in 2003 with Brazilian rosewood back and ideas and an Adirondack spruce top, a pairing that, when combined with the classic slope-shouldered D, produces a rich, mellow bass with clear, bell-like trebles. This example is in excellent structural condition, with no cracks. The finish is in good shape overall although there is some light crazing on the back and face of the headstock. There is also a slight amount of pore shrinkage on the back. The frets are in excellent shape with very little wear. Includes the original hardshell case.
