Danny Gatton was a hot shot guitarist who played rockabilly, jazz, blues, and country all fused into his one distinctive style. His trademark trick, using a beer bottle as a slide (with plenty of beer in it) can be easily found on youtube. Fun fact: Gryphon's very own repairmen Todd Novak once had the opportunity to open for Gatton while he was living on the east coast.
Gatton's personal 50s telecaster was done in Frost Gold and sported dual rail pickups which this instrument's Billl Lawrence pickups were modeled after. Add the cubic zirconium side dot markers and a rather beefy baseball bat neck, you too can play the beer bottle slide. Just remember to bring your rag to clean the guitar off and maybe do a little playing, rag in hand, as this guitars frets are plenty high with very little wear. Comes with a squeaky clean original tweed hardshell case and even the ashtray cover for the bridge.
