We’ve always been big fans of Taylor's maple guitars so we were pleased to see this 2000 410-MA walk in the store. This guitar has a clear, sweet tone with a focused bass and strong mids and trebles. This 410-MA has all the punch and power we have come to expect from dreadnought but it doesn’t have a boomy low end that can sometimes obscure the high end. It’s in excellent structural and cosmetic condition with no cracks and just very slightest signs of being played. The top has a gloss finish and the back and sides are satin with lovely amber hue. Check out photo #5 to see a nicely done celluloid inlay that Taylor was doing around that time. At $1350, this is a great value for an all-solid wood, US-made guitar from one of our favorite builders. Include the original Taylor hardshell case.
