If you've had a hankering for a big blond Gibson J-200 but the typical price tag for one is daunting, consider this 20 year-old J-150. In terms of sound and playability, it's the iconic J-200's equal with the same curly maple back, sides, and neck and the same bridge and fancy fingerboard inlays. Sure this J-150 lacks the neck binding of a J-200, but it's got that big rumbling Gibson Jumbo sound that will make you forget about some plastic edging. This one has had a professional neck reset so the string action is very comfy, other than that it's original throughout with no cracks or even serious dings. Note that the floral decor on the pickguard looks a bit faded from finger and/or pick wear, just below the E string. The active Fishman pickup works fine when you need to plug in, and the original brown Gibson hardshell case is in good shape.
