A super clean 12-fret Collings, with that typical bigger-than-D tone and volume the longer body and lower bridge placement often delivers. Almost no fret wear and original throughout with no cracks or noticeable wear. The only issues are minor and just to the finish as the pore filler didn't stay level over time on many rosewood Collings from this era, but it only affects the back and sides and not the neck or the top. The result is a sort of lightly speckled appearance when viewed from certain angles, check photo 5. The lacquer in a narrow line just in front of the bridge has lifted slightly but we've checked it carefully and the bridge is NOT at all loose. Original "figure 8 loop handle" TKL case.
