A very clean D2H from the early days of Collings guitars, when the crew was small and total production was below 500 guitars per year (production had more that doubled less than years later). This example was refretted a few years ago by Brian Michael in Gryphon's repair dept. and as you can tell from photo 12 it hasn't seen a lot of use since. Remarkably unmarked and original throughout for although it has seen a lot of playing hours the owner is fastidiously careful with his instruments. This has the balanced rosewood D tone that has made the Collings D2H a popular best-seller, year after year. The TKL Deluxe case shown is the original (this is from a few years before Collings began using the TKL Vintage Series case).
