A prime example of what a great archtop builder Ted Megas was even back this long ago. We sold this to a local customer over 20 years ago who took excellent care of it but finally came to the conclusion that he's a flattop guitarplayer, which explains why such a fantastic archtop has seen so little use. It's original throughout, with only light playing wear to the finish and very little wear to the frets. No cracks to the body or neck. The finish is excellent although the headstock facings do show a fine pattern of crazing. This has a balanced tone up and down the fretboard you expect from an archtop, with the added benefit of warmer bass response than many big archtops deliver. Lots of headroom if you need to drive it hard as an acoustic, with a smooth tone from the floating pickup when you're after the classic jazz guitar sound. Super heavy duty case, with arched bottom as well as an arched lid.
